    Jennifer G. Robinson, MD, MPH, is a professor in the Departments of Epidemiology & Medicine, and is the director of the Prevention Intervention Center in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Iowa College of Public Health and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She earned her medical and master of public health degrees from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and School of Public Health, respectively. Dr Robinson is widely published in her field in such publications as JAMA, American Heart Journal, European Heart Journal, Journal of the American Heart Association, and Circulation, among others.

    Karol Watson, MD, PhD, is an attending cardiologist and a professor of medicine/cardiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is the director of the UCLA Women’s Cardiovascular Health Center, the UCLA-Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Health Program, the co-director of the UCLA Program in Preventive Cardiology, and the director of the UCLA Fellowship Program in Cardiovascular Diseases. She is a principal investigator for several large National Institutes of Health research studies, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Heart Association. She is a board member of the American Heart Association, Western States Affiliate, and chairperson of the Scientific Advisory Board for Womenheart.

    Norman E. Lepor, MD, FACC, FAHA, FSCAI, earned his MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed his postdoctoral training in cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a co-founder of Westside Medical Imaging/Westside Medical Associates of Los Angeles. Dr Lepor is regarded as a national authority in the treatment of hypertension, lipid disorders, heart failure, diabetic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and arrhythmias. He has been a primary investigator in several pivotal clinical trials and has written extensively in journals that include JAMA and the American Journal of Cardiology.

    Alan S. Brown, MD, is the director of the Prevention Center/Lipid Clinic for Midwest Heart Specialists and a clinical associate professor of medicine and cardiology at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. He is the director of the Division of Cardiology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and is a fellow of the American Heart Association, the National Lipid Association, and the American College of Cardiology. Dr Brown serves on the ACC Task Force for Appropriate Use Criteria, the Board of Directors for the National Lipid Association and the NLA Foundation, is a past president of the Midwest Chapter of the National Lipid Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Preventative Cardiology.

Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical lipidology, he has more than 24 years of experience in general and interventional cardiology. Dr Roth is currently a professor of clinical medicine and Director of Preventive Cardiology for the Division of Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He has more than 12 years of experience in clinical trials and has been principal investigator or sub-investigator on over 500 clinical trials. Dr Roth also has ACRP/APPI certification as a Certified Principal Investigator.
